Dear
Friend:
I have created this
"Karaoke
Christmas on the Radio"
CD as a way to bring people together during the holidays.
Christmas is a time when we share our love for one another and have fun, too.
I hope
"Karaoke
Christmas on the Radio" can make a contribution to the Christmas season that everyone, young and old, can enjoy.
I've loved Christmas music, both religious and secular, since I was very young. I remember belting out all my favorite Christmas songs, from
"White
Christmas" in my grade school classrooms to
"Silent
Night" in my church on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
"Karaoke
Christmas on the Radio" is a way of sharing my love of this seasonal music and encouraging others to join in. The Christmas spirit really gets magnified when everyone participates.
I've also had a love of radio for as long as I can remember. In high school, I announced sports from basketball to baseball, and I was hired by the Portland Park District as a baseball announcer for City Leagues and the American Legion. In my late teens, I read the introductions for the worldwide radio program "Open Door," hosted by Pastor Elmer "Bud" Frimoth of the Presbyterian Church. Then in the 1980s, I became a morning radio personality on an FM station in Phoenix, Arizona.
The songs on this
"Karaoke
Christmas on the Radio" CD come from my heart.
I want to spread as much happiness as I can.
That's what this Christmas season is all about: Peace on earth, goodwill to all men.
I wish we could have the spirit of Christmas all year round. The world needs it. So many people are unhappy. So many people around the world are deprived of even the essentials of life.
My wish is that in this Christmas season, everyone, the whole world over, should be enfolded in the arms of love, and may that love last long after the celebrations and gift-giving are over.
So sing your Christmas songs and let everyone else hear them too, through
"Karaoke
Christmas on the Radio".
Don't hold back!
Give it your all, and together, let's fill the radio waves with a great tide of joy and happiness this Christmas season and all future seasons.
Have fun with it, my friends, and let's do it all again next Christmas!
Sincerely,

Steve Mozena,
Creator of
"Karaoke
Christmas on the Radio"
